Ercol Grandfather Chair

Recently we were contacted by the Chairman of Ercol - Henry Tadros who purchased this gorgeous chair from us. In return for delivery, we were offered a tour of the Ercol factory.

Restorations

We carefully restore and refinish many of the products that we sell. This lovely breakfast table is one of our most recent projects and is up for sale in our shop.

Favourites

We have a house full of Ercol, right down to our babies cot! But restoring an item and sending it on its way to its new owner gives us great pleasure. Sometimes though, we spot something that we just can't part with. Like this dressing table, which has made its way into our collection under the guise of an "anniversary present" - I can't complain!!

Dining Sets

If you see a table that you like and it doesn't come with chairs, we might be able to find you a set to accompany it. Christmas is fast approaching and our dining sets sell fast at this time of year so get in quick!

Inside the Factory

Fascinating seeing the process of making a chair from start to finish.

Other designs

Believe it or not, we don't just sell Ercol. We are always on the look out for stylish Mid-Century pieces. This Nathan Circles sideboard was a particular favourite and after a full refinish, is now safely settled in its new home.

Rare Finds

We love it when we come across rare pieces that we have not seen before. Like this gorgeous pair of 493 chairs. Their shape is quite unique and it was no surprise that they didn't hang around for long.

Popular Items

Quaker chairs seem to be a firm favourite and I can see why. Elegant, stylish and comfortable, they are the perfect accompaniment to any of our Breakfast, Plank or Grand Windsor tables.
